Heads-up! CDC says New Powerful Stomach Virus in Eight States–Is Maine One?
Doctor's are a bit baffled concerning a new stomach flu that seems to linger for many days, even up to a month, keeping you confined to the nearest bathroom with severe vomiting and diarrhea. It's called 'Cyclospora,' and it's a microscopic parasite that the CDC says cannot be transmitted from one person to another. It does seem to be in something that people have consumed. Right now 269 people in eight states have contracted the parasite.
