Governor Paul LePage will hold his next town hall meeting Tuesday night in Bucksport, according to a press release from the governor on Monday.

The event, which is open to the public, will take place at Bucksport Middle School from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The town hall style meeting will focus on reducing the income tax, reforming welfare, cutting energy costs and addressing Maine’s high student debt burden.

The governor has said he’ll hold a town hall meeting each week leading up to the 2016 elections to stress to voters that they need to select legislators who “care about the future of Maine.”

The Governor’s most recent town hall meeting took place last week at the University of Maine at Farmington.
