Got Work? Polish Up Those Resumes and Interviewing Skills and Head for Bangor

There’s a new employer in Bangor and they’re looking to fill some positions.

Ovations Food Services is the food and beverage provider for the new Cross Insurance Center in Bangor and they’re hosting a job fair looking for new employees.

Carmen Montes is the Director of Food and Beverage and she says they’re looking to fill as many as 150 people.

"We are looking to hire wait staff, we need banquet cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, concessions staff, as well as a concessions manager," states Montes.

Montes says folks should come to the job fair with a resume and be prepared for an interview and it's a good idea to know your schedule because a lot of people will be hired but used on an as needed basis as events are booked at the new conference center and arena.

The job fair will be held Wednesday from 2 until 6pm and Thursday from 4 until 8pm at the Cross Insurance Center on Main Street in Bangor.

Folks attending can use the Dutton Street entrance and will be directed where to go.
