Do you check Google on a daily basis to see if they have a cool Doodle for the day? (or is that just me?) I love Google Doodles, and this one is my new favorite. It celebrates the 93rd birthday of Saul Bass, who was an American graphic designer and Oscar winning filmmaker, best known for his design of motion picture title sequences, film posters, and corporate logos.

Two of the title sequences that I particularly love are for the movie "Catch Me If You Can" and the TV show "Mad Men." While these were not done by Bass, they pay homage to his style. And so does this Google Doodle!

I've often wondered if it's a commentary on the lack of entertainment in my life that I look forward to what Google offers up next in the way of creative doodles. But, c'mon....you have to love this one!!
