Nine-year-old Alayna Adams was probably feeling pretty honored to be chosen by the U.S.O. to throw out the first pitch at Thursday night's Tampa Bay Rays-Red Sox game. But the night took on new meaning for her when she realized the catcher was really her Dad, who had been deployed to Afghanistan for most of the past two years!

Before Alayna threw out that pitch, there was a recorded message from her Dad, Lieutenant Colonel Will Adams, telling her he'd see her soon. But it was all a ruse because Dad was dressed as a player and crouching behind the plate.

Get your tissues ready for the end of this video when he lifts the mask and his daughter recognizes her Daddy. So sweet!
