Garth Brooks 2014 Comeback Tour Adds More Atlanta Shows
When Garth Brooks‘ Atlanta show sold out before anyone could blink, he did what every fan was hoping he’d do: he added more shows.
The tickets for Brooks’ Sept. 19 concert at the Philips Arena went on sale Friday (Aug. 8) at 10AM ET, and once that show sold out, the country music legend added a second show for 10:30PM … and then a third for Sept. 20. So far, Atlanta can expect a triple play of Brooks concerts in 2014 — who knows, if the tickets keep flying off the shelves, there could be more still to come.
When Brooks’ first Chicago concerts sold out, he added six more dates to his schedule, so it’s no huge surprise that the star is also offering the special treatment down south.
Supply and demand is certainly skewed right now, with more fans than there are tickets, but it sounds like Brooks’ team is working to provide as many opportunities as possible for loyal fans to see the man of the year. The singer is committed to treating his fans well, too, even trying to keep his ticket prices low.
The 52-year-old is planning on a possibly 3-year tour in celebration of his return from a lengthy hiatus. In addition to his return to the stage — where his talented wife, Trisha Yearwood, will join him as tour opener — Brooks is working on an upcoming record.
