Free Rides To The Polls In Greater Bangor Area

The Community Connector is offering free rides to the polls today, in several Bangor-area communities.

For anyone who doesn't drive, or doesn't have a vehicle, getting to the polls can be challenging. And especially on a rainy day like today. So, in an effort to encourage everyone to get out and vote, Bangor's Community Connector bus service is offering free rides to some area communities.

Folks can get a lift to the polls for free today in Bangor, Brewer, Hampden, Veazie, Orono, and Old Town. They just need to tell the driver that they're going to vote and they won't be charged for the ride.
