Footprints in Snow Lead to Three Arrests for Burglary to Motor Vehicles

Soule, Celino (Bangor PD)

Footprints in the snow eventually led police to arrest three people for burglarizing motor vehicles in Bangor.  Police are now asking residents who find that their vehicles have been burglarized to contact the department. They may have your belongings.

It was just after 4 o’clock this morning when a Silver Road resident called police to report finding  footprints in the snow around her car. She told police it appeared someone had unsuccessfully tried to enter her vehicle.

About a half hour later, a resident of Deer Isle Road called police and reported seeing three men in the area dressed in snow clothes and said that it appeared they were trying to get into cars. Sergeant Cathy Rumsey said in a press release that several officers responded to the call and, as a result, three men were arrested.

  • Bryce Celino, 21 years old of Bangor is charged with 1 count of Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and 1 Count of Violation of Bail
  • Joshua Soule, 20 years old of Bangor is charged with 2 counts of Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and 2 counts of Theft
  • A 17-year-old juvenile from Bangor was also arrested and is charged with 1 count of Receiving Stolen Property, 1 count of Possession of Dangerous Knives, and 1 count of Possession of Schedule Z drugs (prescription pills)

This case is still under investigation and the suspects may face additional charges. The officers recovered a great deal of property they believe was stolen from various vehicles over the course of the night. Any resident of the West Side of Bangor and the Capehart area that finds their car was burglarized should call the Bangor Police Department. They may have some of your stolen items.
