Flashback: Alan Jackson ‘Here in the Real World’ 1990 [VIDEO]

I don’t think even Alan Jackson could have predicted his eventual success after these years–so many songs and hits. And to think many of us had a chance to see him at the Bangor Waterfront Pavillion a couple of years ago. I still say it was one of the best concerts I’ve seen in my many years of working in the crazy business of radio. But like any artist who makes it in the business, you gotta start somewhere.

In the year 1989, Jackson released his second hit, ‘Here in the Real World,’ of which he also produced a video. My goodness he looked so young (32-years-old). But what a great song/story, and what a great video.
