Police have charged a Shapleigh woman with engaging a prostitute in connection with the ongoing investigation into an alleged sex-for-hire operation at a Zumba studio in Kennebunk, Maine.

Denise J. Sillon, 58, of 476 Shapleigh Corner Road, was charged Friday, according to the Portland Press Herald. She is the first woman added to the list of accused "johns," and is reportedly the wife of one of the men already charged in the case. She is set to appear in Biddeford District Court on Feb. 20, 2013.

Police allege Alexis Wright, 29, ran a prostitution operation out of her studio. She has pleaded not guilty in the case. Her alleged business partner, 57-year-old Mark Strong Sr. also has pleaded not guilty to 59 counts of promotion of prostitution and violation of privacy. Police say Wright videotaped many of the encounters without her clients’ knowledge and kept meticulous records.

So far, more than 60 people have been charged in connection with the case, which gained national attention when it broke in October.
