Now that we have eaten the big Thanksgiving meal, it's time to turn our attention to the Christmas season. I'm determined to try and take time and enjoy it this year.

My wife and I were talking today, and it seems the older we get, the faster that time flies. She's busy with school at Nokomis, and working part-time at L.L. Bean. I have work during the day, and basically once basketball season starts on Dec.7, I'll be broadcasting games six nights a week.

Today we put up the lights in the windows. We have these battery operated candles that go in the windows, and they are photo sensitive, so we don't have to turn them on at night, or shut them off in the morning. That makes it easy! One of the great things I love about the Christmas Season is all the Christmas TV Specials!

When our younger son Collin was younger, I remember printing out the ABC Family's 25 Day of Christmas TV Schedule for him, so he could know what was on every night, and basically all day on the weekends. Christmas through the eyes of a young child is so special.

I love the traditional shows. Give me Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown and The Grinch and a cup of hot chocolate and I'm good! What are your favorite shows? Please comment below and let us know! Happy viewing!
