About the beer:

Black Bear Hop Harvest IPA (7%)

A well balanced India Pale Ale utilizing an insane amout of fresh hops from a local grower. Citrusy, floral, nicely bittered, sure to please any hophead out there.

Hoffstetten 1810 Festbier (6.3%)

“Original Hochzeitsbier von 1810” goes back to the Original “Maerzen-style beer” that was served in 1810. Relative to today’s “adjusted” Octoberfestbiers it is much darker in color, much stronger in alc/vol, and much more full-bodied! Just the way beers were brewed around that time!

Einbecker Pilsner (5%)

Brewing since 1378, Einbecker knows a little about brewing great beers. Crisp and hoppy but is balanced by the malt.  The grain malt, together, with the herbal components make for a refreshing and light beer.

Black Bear Ichabod (6%)

A red IPA. It has a nice amber color with a great malt backbone and plenty of American hops. It is dry hopped but still kept in balance to let the nutty, toffee notes of the malts come through. The beer is crisp and clean and bursting with flavor. The perfect fall time beer!

Penobscot Bay Kugels Bier (4.8%)

A recipe devised by Steven Padgett of Nocturnem Draft Haus. A take on the classic Altbier Style of Dusseldorf Germany. A rich brown ale. Decidedly hoppy, a little fruity, super smooth and finishing clean. This beer was lagered for 2 months. --What’s up with the name? Steve’s nickname is “Bullit”. Kugel is the German word for Bullit. Cheers!

Long Trail Pumpkin (5.5%)

A slightly sweet seasonal treat artfully brewed with pumpkins, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. The perfect drink for a fall day, this exceptionally balanced beer has an aroma very reminiscent of pumpkin pie.

Long Trail Double Bag (7.2%)

This malty, full-bodied double German Altbier style is also known as “Stickebier” – German slang for “secret brew”.

ACE Pumpkin Cider (5%)

The pumpkin is subtle in both nose and taste. Slightly tart, yet thoroughly refreshing, with hints of cinnamon and spice. A great fall treat.
