“The former Marden’s Lady”, Birdie Googins, is appearing at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor on Friday, September 27th!
The night will start off at 6pm with appetizers, drinks and a silent auction followed by a live auction where wonderful gift certificates to many Bangor area businesses such as Oriental Jade, Studio I Hair Salon, UMaine football, Collins Center for the Arts, The Natural Living Center, Chili’s and many more will be featured. There will also be electronics, stained glass art, folk art, blankets, jewelry, homemade pies, cupcakes, bike rentals, gift baskets, and more unique & valuable items auctioned off. The funniest lady in Maine will entertain with her one- woman, stand- up comedy show! An accomplished actress, playwright and comedian, Birdie, a Maine native, is sure to delight the audience with her fun, kooky, over-the-top style of Maine humor.
Tickets are $20.00. Call Grace United Methodist Church at 942-8320 for tickets and more information. All proceeds will go to Grace Church and its ministries. Tickets are on sale in the office.
