FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BANGOR, MAINE, April 9, 2015 The Gracie Theatre welcomes the nationally touring comedy show, 3 Blonde Moms on Thursday, April 9. The hit show, seen on E!, and CMT, revolves around three unlikely friends from a Los Angeles cul de sac who really are the "Desperate Housewives" you’re looking for. The trio presents hilarious stories in an evening of stand-up comedy with a twist. 3 Blonde Moms will be at Husson University’s Gracie Theatre on Thursday, April 9, at 7:30pm and promises to be a show even Dads will love.
“The 3 comediennes, based in LA, incorporate multi-media, music, and comedy in a unique, hysterical, PG-13 show!” said Jeri Misler, managing director of the Gracie Theatre. “The show will appeal to anyone who’s ever had a mom, is a mom, and loves a mom!”
The show’s performers each have impressive television, film and theatre credits. The ensemble includes the "feisty”, tell-it-like-it-is mom, Beaumont Bacon from movie Jerry McGuire. Ms. Bacon, a nationally headlining comic, has her own one woman show "Raging Beau," and is co-host on "The Joanie Show!" The trio calls Donna Cherry, the "hotty" mom, as she is the celebrity in the cul de sac. The former “Miss California” is an accomplished singer, having performed as an opening act for Barry Manilow concerts. Cherry has appeared on ABC's Desperate Housewives, Disney's Suite Life on Deck, and Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush. The show’s creator and producer is the "perky" mom, Joanie Fagan. Joanie played Faith on ABC's "The Drew Carey Show", current host of her own talk show The Joanie Show! Fagan regularly appears on stage in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, appeared on three A & E's Evening at the Improvs, Girls Night Out on Lifetime, Comedy Central, and MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour.
As part of their East Coast tour, the trio will perform a comedy set for the live taping of The Nite Show with Dan Cashman, filmed at the Gracie Theatre on Wednesday, April 8. The Nite Show and the Gracie hope to continue collaborating on acts next season.
3 Blonde Moms Tickets sell for $15.00 each and are available at www.gracietheatre.com or by calling 941-7888.
