Augusta residents are invited to have Coffee With a Cop this morning and chat about whatever they'd like!

'Coffee With A Cop' is a national program that hopes to bridge the gap between residents and members of law enforcement. Usually when someone interacts with a police officer or sheriff's deputy, it's a stressful situation. Whether it's a traffic stop or something more serious, you're rarely at your best when talking with police.  So this program offers opportunities to see those officers as real people, to chat with them about community issues or whether the Patriots will have a good season.

Members of the Augusta Police Department are at the Dunkin Donuts on Civic Center Drive this morning until 9:00 and encourage the public to stop by for a beverage and some relaxed conversation!
