The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has arrested an Enfield couple for distributing oxycodone pills from their residence, according to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Scott Lord, 51, and his wife, Ann Lord, 46, are both charged with unlawful trafficking in oxycodone.

For the past several months, MDEA agents from the North Central District Task Force have been investigating the couple, who live in a mobile home at 25 Pierce Road.

Wednesday night, MDEA agents, along with deputies from the Penobscot County Sheriffs’ Office and state police, searched the home and seized over 80 Oxycodone pills and $9,000 in suspected drug money, said public safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

Agents also recovered eight Maine EBT cards, none of which belonged to the couple, the release said.

Agents say the couple may have accepted EBT cards as payment for the Oxycodone.

The two were transported to the Penobscot County Jail, where bail was set at $5,000 each.

Their first court appearance is scheduled for Friday at the Penobscot Judicial Center in Bangor.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges and arrests are expected, McCausland said.
