Enfield And Maxfield Town Offices Burglarized Friday Morning

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office is investigating the burglaries of two town offices Friday morning.

Chief Deputy William Birch said in a media release that both the Enfield Town Office and the Maxfield Town Office were broken into during the early morning hours of June 8th. The thieves took electronics and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Now, authorities are hoping to hear from anyone with information about the burglaries, or who may have seen suspicious activity at either Town Office on that morning. They can contact the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office Detective's Division at (207) 947-4585.
