Egg Ride Donations Come In All Shapes and Sizes

Fundraising is nearing an end for the Q-106.5 J.J. West Memorial Pine Tree Camp Egg Ride. The ride is on Saturday and so this is the time when we're really pushing for donations, trying to get to our goal. But while we call them 'egg donations,' we don't actually expect to get eggs! Nevertheless, we did!

Someone, who didn't leave their name, dropped off a donation of $20 today along with the egg you can see in the picture above. On the egg is written 'In memory of Dad, 1-13-48 to 6-14-14. They also included a post-it note that challenges all Kiwanis members to donate at least $10 each. (which leads me to believe this donor is ALSO a Kiwanis member!)

Make your donation by calling 991-9500, by logging onto our secure online donation site, or in person every afternoon this week at Danforth's Downhome Supermarket in Hermon, when JR Mitchell is there.

Just remember....we're looking for monetary donations. We'll have plenty of eggs on Saturday to make the ride. (MORE than enough!) But, don't get me wrong....the fact that you went out of your way to drop off the donation AND the egg is greatly appreciated!
