Eddington Man Found Dead In Crashed Pickup

An 86-year-old Eddington man was found dead in his pickup truck, which had crashed on Route 178, according to police.

Donald Voteur's death is being investigated by the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office and the State Medical Examiner's Office.

Police were called to the scene on Monday shortly after 1 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Officers discovered a small GMC pickup on the right side of the road. Voteur was found dead in the vehicle.
