Easter Weekend Forecast Looks Messy
Rain, snow and gusty winds are expected in parts of Maine over the holiday weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
The advisory includes parts of Aroostook, Somerset, Piscataquis, Penobscot and Washington Counties.
The NWS expects heavy, wet snow. The agency says snowfall amounts should range from 4 to 8 inches.
Wind gusts on Saturday are expected to top out at about 30 mph.
As for Easter Sunday, WABI-TV5 meteorologist Todd Simcox says scattered snow showers are possible. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 30's.
