A Dover-Foxcroft man faces felony drug trafficking charges after for selling LSD and psilocybin mushrooms in Belfast.

Jeremy Taylor, 25, was arrested without incident when he arrived at the Belfast Hannaford parking to meet with an undercover agent to sell LSD. Police seized from Taylor more than a pound of mushrooms and 100 doses of LSD. The street value of the seized drugs was $8,000.

The arrest came after a month-long investigation by the MDEA Mid-Coast District Task Force along with investigators from the Belfast Police Department and Knox County Sheriff’s office.

Taylor was taken to the Waldo County Jail where bail was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear at the Waldo County Unified Court on Sept. 19.
