Start with a gourmet chef, add a little controversy, a misdirected Tweet, splash in plenty of father-son bonding, and heat it up with some Cuban flavoring and you have a movie I'd go back to again and again. I've already watched it twice. Don't miss 'Chef,' available on Netflix right now!

John Favreau stars as a Chef who loves to cook, but is stuck in a rut at his job. An unfortunate turn of events involving a food critic and ignorance about the way Twitter works lands him in a tough spot. But through family, friends, and the magic of the internet, he lands on his feet.

There are so many things I love about this movie. It's a beautiful and touching story of a father and son trying to find a way to connect. It's very funny with some great characters, including Robert Downey, Jr. as Chef Carl's ex-wife's ex-husband, who makes people put plastic covers on their shoes when they walk around his office.

And that's another aspect of this movie - the cast! Dustin Hoffman is Chef Carl's boss, John Leguizamo works in the kitchen, and Scarlett Johansson is the hostess! Sofia Vergara is Chef Carl's ex-wife, and Oliver Platt is the food critic. But my favorite character is Chef Carl's son Percy, played by Emjay Anthony. You may remember Emjay from that cute Werther's Original candy commercial. In 'Chef,' he's a smart and sensitive kid who just wants his Dad to SEE him. And, with his knowledge of the internet, he's a master marketer!

If you're looking for a super-fun, feel-good movie, don't miss 'Chef.' Oh...and have plenty of snacks handy, or watch it while you eat a meal, because the food in this movie is amazing! I watched it right after eating dinner and it still made me hungry!
