Eric Trump, the son of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, is expected to tour Maine's 2nd Congressional District with his wife Lara on Thursday.

The two are expected to make three stops in Maine, according to a report from the Bangor Daily News on Wednesday.

The tour includes a 1 p.m. stop at Ricker Hill Orchard in Turner, which is owned by Republican state representative Jeff Timberlake.

The two will also visit the Trump for President headquarters on Center St. in Auburn at 2:45 p.m. and the Trump for President headquarters on Stillwater Ave. in Bangor at 5:30 p.m.

All three events are open to the public.

The Maine tour will occur one day before U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont holds a rally in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at the Cross Insurance Center.

Donald Trump held a rally at the Bangor arena in June.

The Republican candidate for president was scheduled to visit Portland on Thursday, but the event was cancelled due to a “campaign routing issue,” according to a city spokesperson.

Recent polls of Maine voters show Trump with a lead over Clinton in the northern part of the state, while the Democratic candidate leads Trump in the 1st District.
