Dolly Parton Brings ‘Pure + Simple Tour’ To Bangor Waterfront

Country music legend Dolly Parton brought her "Pure and Simple Tour" to Darling's Waterfront Pavilion Saturday night, entertaining the crowd with a catalog of hits from her 50-year career.

Parton, who appeared in a rainbow dress, told the crowd the story of her life in the music business including the inspirations for many of her songs including "Coat of Many Colors,” “Jolene,” and “I Will Always Love You.”

Next up for country fans is a Thursday, June 23 show from Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell, The Cadillac Three and Kane Brown.
