Deputies Investigating An Armed Robbery In Poland

Investigators with the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Department are investigating an armed robbery last night in the town of Poland.

WABI-TV reports the robbery happened at around 3:00 this morning at the Big Apple on Route 26. The suspect entered the store with a knife and walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

No description of the robber has been released except to say the person was wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The clerk wasn't hurt.
