The State Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the death of a Greenville man a homicide.

Central Maine News reports the cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation with compression of the chest and neck. 32-year-old George Bradford Woodbury III died on June 25th near Beaver Cove.

Paramedics were called to the area late that night to a report of a fight in progress. Police say the fight started as a dispute between two people over rental property. Detectives collected evidence and conducted interviews but State Police have remained tight-lipped about suspects.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland told CM that the Attorney General's Office will determine whether charges will be filed.
