Admitting that one of his favorite shows of all time was 'Hee Haw,' was one of many things that Darius Rucker surprising revealed to CBS in an exclusive interview.  He also revealed his doubts on making it in country music, although he had always had a love for the music.

Rucker had already had tremendous success as the lead singer of the 90's pop group, 'Hootie and the Blowfish,' so he thought the stereotype had already been cast thinking there was no way he'd be accepted in country music. Of course there was the fact that country still is largely listened to and enjoyed by a white audience. That's not to say that he hasn't had some racial troubles in country career, because he has. But one thing for sure, we are sure lucky to have an incredibly talented man in a genre that's forever changing.
