The iconic sea bug on a Volkswagen Beetle is traveling from Florida to retire in Maine. It's due to arrive Tuesday.

The lobster car has served as the official vehicle of Boston Lobster Feast in Orlando, and is now being donated the the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath.

The lobster topped car has made scenic stops along the way from Florida including Georgia, South Carolina, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania and New York City.

The estimated arrival of the car is around 11AM tomorrow when it will be met at the Yarmouth visitors center and toured around Freeport, Brunswick, and surrounding areas before settling in Bath. The public is invited to the Yarmouth visitors center to welcome the new member of the MMM family.

You can see the Lobstermobile this summer at the grand opening of the new exhibit, Lobstering & the Maine Coast, on Sunday, July 26.
