New Hampshire wildlife officials are searching for a coyote after several residents reported seeing the animal with a jar stuck on its head.

One resident in Pembroke was able to snap a photo of the animal.

A conservation officer spotted the coyote but it ran off before the officer could attempt to remove the jar its head.

Anyone who sees the animal is asked to contact New Hampshire Fish and Game.
