Cooler Weather Means Animals Are On the Move, Especially Moose…Don’t Believe Me, Ask my Son Sam Who Hit One Last Night in Northern Maine

People love to move around during the fall, whether it to go to a local orchard to pick apples, to visit a corn maze, to leaf peep, or whatever it is you enjoy during this time of year. As you travel the roadways in our beautiful state, remember as you like to move, Maine's wildlife is also on the move, and Moose are all over, don't believe me, see the photos of my son Sam's encounter with a Northern Maine Moose last night...other than being very sore, he's OK, the moose didn't make it...but neither did his truck!

As you can see from this photo, not much left to the front of the truck....and in the next photo, even though a little dark, this was a pretty large animal, and even though they're large, they are very dark, and hard to see

Thank goodness, other than some pain, my son is OK, others haven't faired so well, so PLEASE stay off the phones, and stay alert while driving!
