Augusta's Cony High School on Tuesday received its third bomb threat in just one week.

Police received a call about a possible bomb threat at the school at 12:20 p.m., according to a press release sent out on Tuesday.

The school went on lockdown and students were released at 1:45 p.m.

The school reopened at 4:00 p.m., following a search by police and bomb-sniffing dogs.

Police say similar threats were made against the school on Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 2.

Police say the threats are being investigated.
