A night of comedy, dinner, and silent auction items will benefit an organization that helps adults, children, and families in Maine.

The Charlotte White Center provides quality community health and social services for a wide variety of people, from those with cognitive or developmental disabilities, to folks affected by domestic violence, and many others. It offers invaluable services to people who often 'fall through the cracks' of the system. But, like most similar agencies, the Center has suffered cutbacks in funding, and so decided to try a fundraising evening to help sustain its many programs.

This event has everything! New England comedians Tom Hayes and Rob Steen, who have appeared on Comedy Central and 'The Late Show With David Letterman', will bring plenty of laughs. There will be a delicious 3 course dinner, along with appetizers and a cash bar. And clients of the Charlotte White Center will be displaying and selling their artwork.

A silent auction will offer up some great items for bid, including a Kayak from Old Town Canoe, a $500 photo package, Waterfront Concert tickets to the show of your choice, jewelry gift certificates, and a lot more! Plus, there will be a 50/50 raffle, so you might even walk away with some cash!

The event takes place Friday, March 3rd at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased through the Charlotte White Center's website, where you can also get more information about the center.
