A beautiful coastal motorcycle ride to benefit the Autism Society of Maine will kick off Sunday from Brewer.

There's nothing quite like cruising the coast of Maine on a motorcycle. Smelling the sea air while enjoying all that breathtaking scenery is something that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. One of my fondest memories involves a hot and humid day, a motorcycle, and the roads around Bar Harbor.

This Sunday, motorcyclists will join together to take one of those coastal rides, while raising money for the Autism Society of Maine. That just makes the day even sweeter, knowing that you're helping such a worthy cause! And it's just $25 per bike to take part.

Folks interested in taking part in the Annual Gagne Ride for Autism will gather at Jeff's Catering, 15 Littlefield Road in Brewer on Sunday, August 21st at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 10 a.m. The 80 to 100 mile ride lasts til 2 p.m., and there will be a party at the end of the ride.
