Closings and Cancellations for Tuesday, 12/29

Here we go, folks! It's our first day of cancellations for the winter of 2015/2016! Check back often, because this storm is going to increase throughout the day.

And, because not everyone will notify us of their closures, it's always a good idea on stormy days to call ahead to your destination before leaving to make sure they're still open.

Here's what we have so far:

• City of Bangor has a parking ban in effect from 11:00 tonight to 6:00 Wednesday morning
• The Bronze Adonis Spa is closed
• Bucksport Regional Health Center will close at 3 p.m.
• Carmel Snowmobile Bingo is canceled tonight
• Courts are closed across the state, including in Bangor. Click here for a complete list of courts that are closed today.
• Dream Dress Bridal is closed
• Eastern Maine Community College is closed today
• Ellsworth City Hall will close at 2pm
• Great Skates is closed. Disney Day will be held Wednesday, December 30th
• Kennebec Valley Community College is closed
• KV Cap offices, transportation, and Educare Central Maine are closed today
• Maine Discovery Museum will close at noon
• Momentum, Incorporated in Hampden is closed
• Salvation Army in Bangor is closed today
• Somerset County District and Supreme Courts are closed today
• Spruce Run WomanCare Alliance - the Dover-Foxcroft office is closed and the support groups are canceled
• The Grand in Ellsworth will be closed today. Vacation matinee Inside Out will resume tomorrow @ 1:00pm.The Teen screening of Maleficent is now Wednesday @ 7:30pm
• TOPS 284 in Ellsworth - tonight's meeting is canceled
• Trapiers Steak and Seafood in West Enfield is closing at 3pm
