City Officials Announce Two New Restaurants Are Coming To Bangor

Two new restaurants are coming to Bangor.

City Officials announced Tuesday that Massimo's Breads on Hammond Street will turn into Massimo's Pizza Bar and a new restaurant called Evenrood's will move into the Circular Building on Broad Street.

The Bangor Daily News reports the city council approved liquor licenses for the two restaurants Monday night.

Councilor Gibran Graham says downtown Bangor is growing.

“It’s not just the nightlife, it’s the apartments, more people are living downtown and they’re here looking to do more things in the evening, looking for entertainment," Graham told the BDN.
