Cindy’s Son Takes Ice Bucket Challenge With Style + Lots of Water! [VIDEO]

My eldest son Mike has always done things his own way. Never one to follow the trends, he always has to find his own spin on everything, including the ice bucket challenge. Just when you think it's over, the worst is yet to come!

The video was shot at Husson in Bangor where Mike works. And I assume those are his coworkers helping him out at the end. Be sure you watch the video all the way through to see just how wet he gets!

The Ice Bucket Challenge, just in case you're new to this, has gone viral around the country (and probably the world), as a way to call attention to a horrible disease called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or ALS. Also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, it shuts down a person's muscles and abilities one by one, while leaving their mind intact. Eventually, a victim of ALS will be unable to walk, talk, or even speak.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is raising awareness, but also money for the organization that's working to help patients and their families, and to find a cure. Everyone from Stephen King to Bill Gates to Tim McGraw has taken the challenge! ALS hasn't been this talked about since Lou Gehrig died of it all those years ago.

I talked to Mike last night and he said he had a headache after this challenge. Not surprising! His body temp must have been way out of whack! Nicely done, Mike!
