Cindy vs. Erik: Week 2 Football Results

It wasn't a good week for either of us in this week's football pool, as we both dropped slightly in the rankings. But I'm still in the lead!

Our office football pool is managed by Thom. He's the guy you hear on a lot of our commercials, and he sings a cool Santa Comes to Maine song at Christmas. While I was in a meeting today with Fred (my boss), Thom came in to tell him that he was now in second place! When he had no words for me, I knew that it wasn't good news.

Sure enough, when I checked this week's list, I dropped from 7th place to 8th. Bummer! The only good news is that my morning show co-host, Erik Owens, also dropped one spot, from 10th to 11th. But, hey, I'm still ahead of him - so that's good news!

On Thursday, Erik and I will post our picks for week 3. Here's how we did in week 2:

• Denver at Kansas City - We both picked KC and got burned!
• New England at Buffalo - Of course, we both successfully picked the Pats
• Arizona at Chicago - Win/Win! We both picked Arizona
• San Diego at Cincinnati - Our bad - we both picked the loser - Cincinnati
• Tennessee at Cleveland - Score! I picked the winner, Cleveland, while Erik...didn't
• Detroit at Minnesota - And again! I picked the winning Minnesota while Erik...didn't
• Tampa Bay at New Orleans Those TB Buckin' Ears beat us BOTH!
• Atlanta at NYG - I took a chance on the Giants and got left behind while Erik scored
• San Francisco at Pittsburgh - I had the winning Steelers - while Erik didn't
• St. Louis at Washington - We both got burned by the Redskins
• Houston at Carolina - However we BOTH WON with Carolina!
• Baltimore at Oakland - Erik and I agreed on Baltimore - and LOST!
• Miami at Jacksonville - We agreed...Miami! But Jacksonville won...
• Dallas at Philadelphia - We both lost. I knew I didn't like Dallas!
• Seattle at Green Bay - However, we LOVE Cheese heads! Go Green Bay!
• NYJ at Indianapolis - Was that the sound of the Jets doing a fly-over at our pity party? We both lost when we picked the Colts!

On Thursday, Erik and I will post our picks for the weekend. Here's hoping we BOTH do better!
