Got some old electronic devices that gotta go? Maybe an old computer monitor, or that crappy old TV that's been sitting unplugged in the guest room for the last 13 years? Well friends...this is your lucky day. On Saturday September 15th, the Challenger Learning Center of Maine will be hosting an e-waste recycling event at their location at 30 Venture Way in Bangor.

That day, you can bring all that old junk that you can't put out with your regular trash. Maybe it's an old printer, or a dead computer tower that you've been using as a door stop since 2004. This is the place to make all that stuff go away. For a small suggested donation of $10 for your first item, and $5 for each additional item, they will send all this stuff up to electronic heaven!

It will be happening all morning and into the afternoon from 9:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. on Saturday the 15th, right in their parking lot. There's plenty of room, so it will literally be, as they say on their Event Page, "easy-in, easy-out". Just pull in, drop your stuff off, and scoot right out, easy as pie.

So put that date on your calendar, pack up all that junk, and help a great cause in the process. I mean really.....is there anything better than cleaning out junk and being charitable at the same time?!?! I didn't think so either.
