Census Estimates Show Dip In Maine Population

Census estimates released Tuesday show that Maine’s population is declining.

The U.S. Census Bureau estimated that Maine lost about 928 residents between July 2014 to July 2015.

Maine was 1 of 7 states with a dip in population during that time span.

The other states were Connecticut, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, Vermont and West Virginia.
