October 5, 2012 I have always been fascinated by space, ever since I visited Cape Canaveral as a girl and got to watch from the visitor's area as a rocket launched a satellite into orbit. On that same trip, we learned about a new ship they were working on that would take off like a rocket and land like a plane. Yep, I'm that old that I remember when the Shuttle was in development! September 29, 2012 Thanks to the folks from Sebasticook Valley Health for a fun and successful day! The annual Health Fair was held today in Pittsfield, despite the cold and rainy conditions, and lots of people came out to enjoy it!
The tent smelled amazing, as the "Taste of the Market" folks cooked up Zucchini crab cakes and Farmland vegetable casserole! Plenty of community members got their flu shots and kids brought teddy bears for the clinic! And there was face-painting with Dave and Olivia
