February 26, 2013 This is the final weekend you'll be able to watch basketball at the Mecca, otherwise known as the Bangor Auditorium. By tourney time next year, the Cross Insurance Center will be open and it will be a whole new experience. So I wanted to pause for a moment and reminisce about some fun times at the auditorium!

He says he used to sing, but switched to whistling.
Perhaps that's a good thing but apparently not everyone in Portland has a sense of humor and they've complained leading to a court order that basically allows him to keep whistling, but he has to stay on the move so as not to become too irritating in one spot near downtown Portland merchants
February 25, 2013 "Bully" is a very special documentary. It follows the stories of five schoolchildren and their families that are affected by bullying. The film will be shown this week at Husson University's Gracie Theatre and families are encouraged to attend together.

In a letter Governor LePage sent to the Obama Administration last week he said, "to prevent future tragedies...we must be willing to focus on delivery of mental health care services."
One such program providing valuable service to folks living with mental illness in Maine is the Clubhouse program.
