A Family Tradition Revived to Support a Bangor Bus Route

Bangor City Councilor Joe Baldacci says he and his brother, Former Governor and U.S. Congressman John Baldacci, are teaming up for a Halloween themed spaghetti dinner next week.

It's all in an effort to show public support for the Community Connector Bus route serving the Odlin Road and outer Hammond Street areas of the city.

Spaghetti - cord                              Linguini - little tongues
Vermicelli - little worms                   Conchiglie - shells
Rotini - spirals                                Fettucine - small ribbons
Ravioli - little turnips                        Capellini - fine hairs
Fusilli - little spindles                      Cannelloni - tubes
Tortellini - little cakes                      Penne - quills
Rigatoni - short, wide fluted tubes
Lasagna - broad, sometimes ruffled, ribbons of pasta

Friends and family of a young man who is battling back from a brain injury are holding a fun evening on his behalf. Andrew Stearns was hurt while working with an ATV in his yard. He's out of the hospital now but is still doing physical and speech therapy to get back all of the abilities damaged by the accident.
