I do love to shop in small stores. There is generally a feeling that can only be associated with living in a small town that you can't get anywhere else. Some small business owners really understand the importance of community, and they show it with simple gestures such as greeting you like you are somebody important; they learn your name; they know your family; they remember birthdays and anniversaries and so much more. Such was the case of Avi (Ah-vee), who moved to a small town of Levitttown, Long Island, and opened a store with hopes, dreams and aspirations, and the community loved him. But when Avi announced that he may have to close the doors in a year, the community rallied and formed a 'Cash Mob' to help Avi survive.

Here's a video of moments that led up to the day and actual moments that the Cash Mob landed at his store. There's so much to take away from what happened to Avi, so be sure to watch the entire video.
