Carrie Underwood took a nasty fall on the steps outside her Nashville-area home on Friday night (Nov. 10), suffering "a broken wrist and cuts and abrasions," according to a statement to the Tennessean.

Concerned fans took to social media to send well-wishes to the star -- and on Sunday (Nov. 12), she replied, thanking them and assuring them she'll be fine with the help of a little TLC from her husband, Mike Fisher.

Underwood suffered the accident just a couple of days after hosting the 51st annual  hosted the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley. Her injuries required a hospital visit, and she was forced to cancel Sunday night's planned appearance at the Country Rising benefit show. (It will still be a star-packed lineup, however. The event, which benefits hurricane and shooting victims, has George Strait, Jason Aldean, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley, Chris Stapleton, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire and Keith Urban on the roster.)

Retired Nashville Predators captain Fisher reportedly traveled overnight to be by his wife's side following the accident. He was her escort at the CMA Awards Wednesday night, something he has not been able to do for years due to conflicts with his former pro sports schedule.
