Man Faces Charges After Car Crashes Into House In Detroit, Maine

Police say alcohol was a factor when a driver ran his car into the side of a house in Detroit.

No one was hurt when the car struck the Main Street house on Sunday. Troopers Tyler Maloon and Eric Bronson said several people were seated in the area of the house that was hit, but weren't injured in the crash.

Scott Nicholson, 48, of Connecticut is charged with operating under the influence. Police say blood test results are pending.
