Check out this video taken last week by a Maine Forest Ranger somewhere within Baxter State Park!

Watch this beautiful Canadian Lynx on the prowl as he looks for his supper.  See how much it resembles a household cat as it hunkers down and tries not to be seen as it crosses the road.

Canadian lynx more or less roam the northern areas of the state but can be seen anywhere around here!  The can grow as big as 22 inches high and to as much as 24 pounds, about twice as much as your regular domestic cat.
