Today is a day to remember those who were lost in the 9/11 attacks. To thank the first responders who worked so hard to save as many victims as possible. And to offer prayers for the victims who survived and for the families of those who didn't. At that time, amidst the news reports, some advertisers did what they could to show their patriotism and their support. But no one did it better than Budweiser.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are an iconic symbol in American culture. It's one of those images that you can identify, whether they actually have any Budweiser labels or not. So I thought the company showed a lot of class with this memorable ad.

Now, before you say it was merely a way to make themselves "look good" and sell beer, remember this. The ad only played once, during the Superbowl of '02. Budweiser's executives said they didn't want to capitalize on the sentiment, but just wanted to show their support for a grieving nation.
