The Penobscot County Conservation Association's Family Fun Day Saturday in Brewer will feature a variety of outdoor activities for all ages!

It will be a busy day at the clubhouse, 570 North Main Street in Brewer, between 9 and 3. There will be food available for purchase and lots of fun for kids, but PCCA officials do require that children under the age of 12 be accompanied by an adult. So you can grab a cup of coffee and watch, or join in as your child enjoys some of these activities:

  • Air Gun Range (if age appropriate)
  • Archery (if age appropriate)
  • Maine Trappers
  • U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla with info about the use of Personal Flotation Devices
  • Fly tying for kids
  • Fly Casting
  • Birdsacre Owl Education
  • Penobscot River Keepers
  • Smokey the Bear and Maine Forest Ranger
  • And much more!

Activities start at 9:00 a.m. and will wrap up by noon. There will be a lunch break, with food available for purchase until 1, when the activities will start up again, and last til 3:00. Sounds like a fun way to spend a day!
