Pitt was at the Palm Springs International Film Festival when he took the stage to present the Breakthrough Artist award to an actor with an usual last name. David Oyelowo won the honor for his portrayal of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Now, as someone who deals with pronouncing unusual names on a regular basis, it can be challenging. But apparently, Pitt and Oyelowo are friends. So he felt comfortable enough to poke a little fun at the unusual last name by leading the audience in a sing-along, so they would also know how to pronounce it.

As for Oyelowo, he loved it, stating 'You know you've broken through when Brad Pitt sings your name!'
