An 18-year-old woman from Bowdoin was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday night.

Bowdoin Fire Chief Tom Garrepy says Mira Graziano was killed when her vehicle struck a tree along Route 201 in Bowdoin.

The Bangor Daily News reports the accident occurred near Rocky Ridge Orchard just before 10:30 p.m.

Police say Graziano was not wearing a seatbelt and they’re still investigating the cause of the accident.

Graziano was the granddaughter of Joseph Graziano, whose popular Lisbon restaurant, Graziano’s Casa Mia Restaurant, closed in 2012 and was demolished in 2013.

Graziano’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the cost of her funeral.
